Joyce Campbell, she goes by Joy. has been painting most of her life , 45+ years. Shes always made a living at it starting as a portrait artist at Knott’s Berry Farm Movieland Wax Museum.. From there she exhibited at galleries including Parkhurst Gallery in southern California, she taught painting and designed for several Commercial companies. 20 or more years ago she moved her work to the internet. she sold well over 2,000 original paintings and shipped them all over the world. She has worked in various styles, mediums and subjects as you will see on this site. Joy’s recent work is abstract and I believe they are very original and unique. Abstract painting has been a revelation to her. Joy seldom ever needs a plan and the painting just leads her. She’s always excited to see where it is going. That’s why the paintings are so diverse. Each one is a one of a kind.  Most of them are painted on stretched canvas.
